I never said the dog was from Australia. That was someone else. I just suggested maybe they misheard. I know many Austrians, and their peeve is when people ask where they are from. They say Austria and the questioner replies, "Where? Australia?"
And yes, I know there are a lot of posters that are educated on many CL forums. A misspelled word and education are not mutually exclusive.
